Michelle Lowe was a Sevenoaks District Councillor for 12 years and Deputy Leader and Cabinet member for Housing and Health from 2013 until 2019 when she stood down.

Michelle quickly saw the links between housing and health and how people flourish when they live in the right housing that suits their needs. Her work on the council led to the winning of many awards including the LgIU Councillor of the year for Health and Care in 2018.

After standing down from the council Michelle worked for the Shaw Trust for 6 months where she worked on policies that help disabled people secure and stay in employment building on the work she did on the council.

She stood as the Parliamentary Candidate for Coventry North East in 2015 and Coventry South in 2017.

Michelle is passionate about levelling up, removing artificial barriers and ensuring everyone has the same opportunities to reach their full potential.
