Kay Carter is a former Chairman of the CDG, a former Parliamentary candidate and has served as Chairman of her local Conservative Association. She is also a Co-Chair of the CDG's #AccessiblePolitics project.
Cllr Mike Gibson is a public consultation specialist in public affairs. Mike has been a councillor on five local government authorities including London Borough of Hillingdon and as a cabinet member for adult social services of Bedfordshire County Council.
Michelle joined the CDG's Executive in March 2020 and is the lead for Policy issues and development. She is particularly interested in widening opportunities in society for disabled people.
John Howard has sat on the CDG Executive for around six years and in March 2018 was re-elected with responsibility for Communications. In 2018 John welcomed his first granddaughter to his family, adding to his already four grandsons.
Jonathan is a trustee of national autism charity Ambitious about Autism, which runs Treehouse school and other autism-friendly schools, while holding down a job as a trainee solicitor.
Wayne is a through-hip amputee since the age of 16. He is a former Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Disability Group, Trustee of the Limbless Association and Chair of the Orthotics Panel for the Polio Foundation. He and his wife have two children and he works with the Internet of Things.
